Calgary, AB – The Alberta Junior Hockey League is pleased to introduce Inter Pipeline as the new title sponsor of the League Championship. Starting in the 2017-2018 season, all 16 teams will battle through the Inter Pipeline AJHL Playoffs for the right to hoist the Inter Pipeline Cup.
“Inter Pipeline has been an AJHL supporter since 2014 and we are pleased to continue to recognize excellence in players both on the ice and academically with the annual presentation of the Inter Pipeline AJHL Playoff MVP and Inter Pipeline AJHL All-Academic Team,” said Chris Bayle President & CEO of Inter Pipeline.
In addition to those selected for the Inter Pipeline AJHL All-Academic team, one current or former will also receive a $1,500 Inter Pipeline Scholarship towards their post-secondary education at the completion of each season.
