Kaleb Ergang Commits to Ferris State Bulldogs

Assistant captain Kaleb Ergang has accepted a scholarship to attend Ferris State University to play for the Bulldogs. Currently the Bulldogs play in the WCHA Conference and have participated 4 times in the NCAA National Tournament most recently in 2016.

The Bulldogs are led by veteran coach Bob Daniels who is the all-time winningest coach in school history.

The Spruce Grove, ALTA, product has been an offensive force since joining the Wolverines via the Okotoks Oilers. He has compiled 61 points in 57 games and is amongst the all time franchise leaders in point per game average.

“It’s been a long road for Kaleb to secure this opportunity, but very well deserved” stated Head Coach Shawn Martin.

Martin adds that “It’s been a pleasure to watch Kaleb grow not only as a player but as a person over the past two years”.

Kaleb had this to say about his commitment. “I am very thankful for all that Whitecourt has done for me, this could not have been accomplished without my teammates, coaches and billets. The Wolverines are a first-class organization with amazing owners that treat the players great, I have loved my two years in Whitecourt and the team and town will always hold a special place in my heart.”

On behalf of the Wolverines organization, we want to congratulate Kaleb and his family on this achievement and thank him for his service in Whitecourt. Any questions can be directed to Shawn Martin Head Coach/GM at 780.893.0535
