The Camrose Kodiaks, in conjunction with the local Camrose Tim Hortons Restaurants, announced on Thursday, September 22nd that the special Kodiak supreme éclair donut will be brought back for the 2011-12 hockey season.
The Kodiaks supreme éclair will be sold in the two Camrose Tim Hortons locations, on the day of each Camrose Kodiaks home and away games throughout the 2011-12 hockey season.
“The Camrose Kodiaks organization is very proud of the partnership we have formed with our local Tim Hortons restaurants,” stated Kodiaks Assistant General Manager, Darcy Steen. “The Kodiaks were proud to partner with Tim Hortons in the execution of several fun and exciting promotions last season, and will continue to do so in the upcoming season. The Kodiaks donut is the shining star of our terrific partnership with Tim Hortons.”
“Tim Hortons is delighted to be involved with the Camrose Kodiaks hockey club, both as a sponsor and a proud supporter,” stated Vaishally Bhatti, Northern Alberta Regional Marketing Manager for Tim Hortons. “Like Tim Hortons, the Kodiaks hockey club is an important part of the Camrose cultural scene. We were proud to partner with the organization on many of the excellent grassroots initiatives in which the Kodiaks are involved in. We are confident that bringing back the Kodiaks donut will be an extra special treat for fans of the Kodiaks, and for our loyal restaurant customers.”
To kick off the sale of the Kodiak supreme éclair donut, a collection of Kodiaks players will be at both the East and West Tim Hortons locations between 7:00am – 9:00am on Thursday, September 22nd. Players will sign autographs, pose for pictures, and also assist Tim Hortons staff while they serve the busy morning rush of customers.
