FORT McMURRAY, AB – In honour of the annual Minor Hockey Week in Fort McMurray, the Fort McMurray Oil Barons of the Alberta Junior Hockey League are pleased to announce that all local minor hockey players will be granted free admission to Saturday night’s home game against the Drumheller Dragons (January 24th).
To earn free admission, the player needs only to come to the game in his or her minor hockey jersey, and no ticket will be required.
This has been an annual promotion by the Oil Barons to help celebrate Fort McMurray’s vibrant hockey community, and the role of minor hockey in helping to develop young people into healthy and responsible adults.
Saturday night’s game takes place at 8 PM at the Casman Centre, with doors opening at 7 PM. Tickets for those without minor hockey jerseys are still available at the Casman Centre box office, by phone at (780) 743-5509, or online at tickets.oilbarons.com.
