The Olds Grizzlys are pleased to announce that Forward Bart Moran and Defenseman Chris Stachiw will be pursuing their education and furthering their hockey career at Castleton State College, of the ECAC Hockey East Division III.
Bart has been a key component of the Grizzlys success throughout his career. Bart has 34 goals 64 assists in his three years with the Olds Grizzlys. He was our Captain and a tremendous leader throughout his career with the Grizzlys.
Chris was a steadfast defenseman for the Grizzlys. Chris had totals of 20 goals and 43 assists in his 4 year junior career. Chris was also a Captain for us for the past couple years and is a tremendous teammate.
The Castleton Spartans have acquired two great leaders and great individuals. They are very lucky to acquire two players of their caliber. Their departure will leave a big void in the Grizzlys roster next year.
The entire Grizzly organization would like to congratulate Bart, Chris and their families on their accomplishment. Good luck next year as you move on to the next level of your hockey career and education.
