Mustangs Make Coaching Change Admist 14 Game Winless Streak

After lengthy meetings of the Hockey Operations Committee, a decision to relieve Head Coach Chad Allen of any further duties with the Junior A Mustangs was reached.

“We are very disappointed in the players dismal efforts as a team, and feel strongly that the players are not reaching their potential as a unit.”  In the last eight games, the teams performance is substandard (being outscored 57-18 in that time) considering the talent on the ice.

The immediate improvement of the team's play was discussed at length in a meeting with the players.

General Manager, Jeff Richards, has been appointed Head Coach for the balance of the season. Assistant Coaches Colten Wildman and Jordan Principalli will remain with the Mustangs.  Jeff will add staff to his team of Coaches if he feels the need to do so.

Ken Morris, Chairman of the Board, will assume on an interim basis the duties of President in order to allow Jeff the time necessary to tackle the tasks of Head Coach.
