The Drayton Valley Thunder are proud to announce that 20 year old forward Nolan Yaremchuk has committed to MacEwan University for the 2014-2015 season.
Yaremchuk was acquired at the January 10th deadline by the Thunder in the 2013-2014 season.
“Nolan came in to a situation where we were pushing for a playoff spot. His leadership and gritty style of play were instrumental in us making the push and getting into a playoff position” said Head Coach Mike Mueller. “Nolan was a key addition to our dressing room on and off the ice and his leadership, energy level, and passion for the game will be something that our returning players will be able to take forward.”
The Drayton Valley Thunder would like to congratulate Nolan and his family on the commitment to MacEwan University and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
