The Okotoks Oilers were back home at the lighted Okotoks Centennial Arena on Wednesday for game five of the 2012 AJHL Enerflex playoffs against the Olds Grizzlys. After being cancelled the previous night due to a wide spread power outage that affected the arena, both teams were anxious to get back on the ice. Being down 3 games to 1 in this best of seven series, the Oilers had to come out on top or say goodbye to this season.
Well, the hometown Oilers came out crashing and bashing everything in their sight and rode their enthusiasm to a convincing 7 to 1 victory over the Olds Grizzlys to make the series 3 to 2 for Olds.
