As the start of the 2011 World Junior A Challenge in Langley, B.C. draws closer, Hockey Canada wants to get Junior A hockey fans across the country involved in the countdown. With that in mind, it has introduced the World Junior A Challenge trivia contest, which will see two fans per week entered in the draw for the World Junior A Challenge / Hockey Canada grand prize.
The only catch? Only correct answers from fans who ‘like’ the World Junior A Challenge on Facebook will be accepted. Not a fan? It’s easy! Just head to www.facebook.com/wjrac and click ‘Like’.
New questions will be posted every Tuesday and Friday. There will be 10 questions total, each specific to one of the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s 10 member leagues. Fans will have until 11:59 pm MT on Monday and Thursday to get their answers in.
For each question, one fan will be chosen from the correct answers to win a Hockey Canada hat. As well, every winner will be entered into the grand prize draw, to be made just prior to the start of the 2011 World Junior A Challenge on November 7.
