The Calgary Canucks are proud to announce that 2003-born forward Ty Hipkin has committed to Lindenwood University of the NCAA Division I. Hipkin joined the Canucks during the 2022-2023 season and has been a Canucks offensive leader. In 2023-2024, Hipkin was the Canucks top goal scorer in with 25 regular season and 9 playoff goals and was named the AJHL Playoff MVP.
“As an organization we could not be happier for Ty. He put in the work on and off the ice the past two seasons with us and Lindenwood is getting an exceptional player and person. I personally look forward to following his progress in the future,” said Head Coach Brad Moran, “Ty has left his mark on our organization and helped raise the standard players need to be to play for the Canucks. We wish him all the best as he continues his hockey career and pursues his education”
