The final Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for the 2017-2018 season is Will Conley of the Fort McMurray Oil Barons. Conley scored 11 goals and 10 assists for 21 points through 12 games in February 2018.
Will Conley (Strathmore, AB) scored two game winning goals in the month of February, which included a win over the Sherwood Park Crusaders on February 3rd and an overtime winner against the Camrose Kodiaks on February 9th. He was awarded as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game four times, adding to his season total of 10 selections. Will was also recognized as the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the week of February 5th – 11th, when he scored 5 goals and 9 points in three Oil Barons victories to extend his point streak to 7 games and 17 points through that time.
The three-year AJHL forward, has had a career high season with 74 points (45G, 29A) and is second in the AJHL Scoring Race behind AJHL MVP Chris Van Os-Shaw (Spruce Grove Saints). He is also second overall in the category of game winning goals (7).
Conley has committed to the Holy Cross Crusaders of the NCAA I for the 2018-2019 season.
