Adam Redmond Named Associate Coach and Assistant General Manager

The Calgary Jr A Canucks are pleased to announce that Adam Redmond has joined the hockey club as Associate Coach and Assistant General Manager.

''I want to thank Head Coach Jay Pylypuik and President Pat Loyer for the opportunity to allow me to get back to the Jr A level. I look forward to working with Jay and the Canucks to help move this team in a new positive direction.''

Adam has spent the previous five seasons as Head Coach of the Midget AAA Calgary Buffaloes guiding then to a first place finish in the Alberta Midget Hockey League. Adam was also in the Alberta Junior Hockey League previously as an Assistant Coach in Olds.

Adam played minor hockey in Calgary then moved to Fort McMurray where he played for 4 years for the Oil Barons of the AJHL. Adam moved on the play at the University of New Brunswick where the team won 2 Atlantic Championships and a Silver Medal in the CIS Nationals. Adam then moved on to play Minor pro hockey for Indianapolis in the Central Hockey League before coming back to Calgary.

The Club is happy to welcome Adam to the Canucks family.
