AJHL Announces Schedule for 15th Annual AJHL Showcase

The Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) today announced the game schedule for the 15th Annual AJHL Showcase, hosted by the Brooks Bandits, from September 30th – October 3rd, 2021.

All 16 AJHL teams will compete in two regular season games at the Centennial Regional Arena over the four-day event.   The Brooks Bandits will heighten the excitement of the annual Showcase by adding a festival atmosphere, enhanced video services and special events while hosting the high-level hockey that fans and scouts have come to expect from the AJHL.

The host Brooks Bandits will battle the North Division’s Spruce Grove Saints on Friday night and Sherwood Park Crusaders on Saturday in front of the hometown crowd.   Each of the 16 games will feature a rare interlock match up between the South Division and North Division.

The annual showcase of AJHL talent draws hundreds of coaches and scouts from each National Hockey League (NHL) team, NCAA Division I, II and III schools, as well as Canadian colleges and universities and the Canadian Hockey League (CHL).   Immediately following the AJHL Showcase each season, the much-anticipated NHL Central Scouting “˜Players to Watch List’ is released in advance of the Annual NHL Entry Draft.

Showcase tickets will be available for purchase starting on Monday, July 12th at 9:00 am. An Adult Event Package to all 16 games is $75, while a Youth (4-17) Event Package to all 16 games is only $37.50.

Adult day passes are $20 for Thursday and Sunday, and $15 for Friday and Saturday. Youth Day Passes are $10 for Thursday and Sunday, and $7.50 for Friday and Saturday. Day passes do not include either of the Bandits games.

Single game tickets will only be offered for the two Bandits games and will follow the same pricing as a regular season Bandits game. Bandits season ticket holders will have the first right to their seats until Friday, September 3rd.

Tickets can be purchased online at tickets.brooksbandits.ca, or by calling the Bandits office at 403-501-0122.

The AJHL Showcase will also feature a licensed entertainment tent outside the arena with live music and games on Friday night. A Family Fun Day is planned for the Saturday with children’s entertainment and games.
