On April 6th, the AJHL Relocation Committee met with representatives from the City of St Albert and the St Albert Steel Hockey Club. The purpose of the meeting was to consider the request submitted by the St Albert Steel to relocate the team to Whitecourt, Alberta for the 2012-2013 season.
The committee, which includes AJHL Chairman Greg Wood and League President Craig Cripps, will now evaluate the information received and report back to the AJHL Board of Governors. As per AJHL Bylaws, Board approval is required for a relocation request to be granted.
