The Brooks Bandits played host to the Fort McMurray Oil Barons on Friday night and came away with a 5-1 victory. Bandits take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. Game Two of the 2012 AJHL Enerflex Cup Finals will go Saturday night at the CRA.
Point-getters for the Bandits were Cam Maclise 2G-1A, Anthony Petruzzelli 1G-1A, Matt Wilkins 1G-1A, Anthony Paskaruk 1G-1A, Colton Semenok 1A and Jeremy Burns 1A. Killian Hutt was the lone goal scorer for the Oil Barons.
In goal was Player of the Game Jan Obernesser who made 27 saves for the win.
