Arneson Commits to Grant MacEwan University

The Canmore Eagles are proud to announce that 20-year-old forward Bryan Arneson has committed to Grant MacEwan University of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference for the 2014-15 season.

Arneson, a native of Sherwood Park, Alberta, enjoyed a three-year career in the Alberta Junior Hockey League picking up 27 goals and 47 assists in 167 games played. In his 86 games as a Canmore Eagle over the past two years, Arneson collected 17 goals and 27 assists.

“I’m very happy to be going to Grant MacEwan to continue both my education and my hockey career,” said Arneson. “I would like to thank the entire Canmore Eagle’s organization and my teammates for the last couple of years. Canmore is a great hockey community and I really enjoyed playing for both Andrew Milne and Jeremy Reich.”

“We are extremely excited for Bryan and his family about his acceptance at Grant MacEwan,” said Eagle’s Head Coach and General Manager Andrew Milne. “Bryan has been a big part of our team for the past two seasons and we wish him all the best and congratulate him on this accomplishment.”
