BROOKS, AB – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are thrilled to announce forward Hunter Wallace has committed to Merrimack College.
With 28 points (15g, 13a) through 21 games this season, Wallace becomes the 15th Bandit on the current roster to be committed to an NCAA Division I school. His 1.33 points/game is ninth in the AJHL this season.
Recruited out of the Southwest Cougars of the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League, the Oak Lake, MB product is in his second season with the Bandits. He dressed in 58 games during the 2021-22 campaign, helping the team win the AJHL and Centennial Cup Championships.
Located in North Andover, Massachusetts, the Merrimack Warriors compete in the Hockey East Conference, where team alumnus Zach Bookman currently is in his freshman season.

The Bandits are back in action this weekend with a pair of South Division road games, starting on Friday, February 10th in Okotoks at 7:00 pm. Then, they visit the Blackfalds Bulldogs on Saturday, February 11th, which starts at 6:00 pm.
