Bandits introduce Bantam Exposure & Peewee Showcase camps for 2018

BROOKS, AB – In addition to their annual Spring Camp, the Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) will debut brand new Bantam Exposure and Peewee Showcase camps in April of 2018, the team announced.

The new camps will be open opportunities for players to compete in an intense and highly competitive weekend, with the intention of identifying and building relationships with future Bandit players.

The Bandits’ Bantam Exposure Camp will run from April 20th to the 22nd, and is open to all Bantam AA and AAA players in the ’03 and ’04 age groups.

The Peewee Showcase camp will run from April 27th to the 29th and is open to all ’05 and ’06 born players playing at the AA level.

Any players who do not meet the minimum criteria but would like to register for the camp can submit a playing resume to Head Scout Wayne Labrie at wayne@brooksbandits.ca for consideration, as spots are limited.

Both camps will showcase the team’s coaching staff, facilities, and community, along with information about the path that Bandit players have taken in pursuing their hockey dreams. There will be a minimum of four ice times with skills and goaltender sessions as well as games.

All games at all camps will be recorded and broadcast on the Centennial Regional Arena’s in-house video scoreboard, with full high definition recordings of the games made available to all players for their own use and review after the camp is completed.

The team’s annual Spring Camp is by invitation only and will be held from April 13th to the 15th, identifying players for the 2018-19 season as the Bandits host the 2019 RBC Cup national championship tournament.

Players and families interested in any of the team’s camps can access the registration forms at http://www.brooksbandits.ca/camps.html, and access more information on the camps by clicking here.
