Brandon Wallis Commits to Concordia University

The Sherwood Park Crusaders are pleased to announce forward Brandon Wallis (1998) has committed to Concordia University in Edmonton, Alberta.

“Our program is very fortunate to add a player like Brandon to our roster,” said Concordia head coach Dan Glegloff. “Brandon is an excellent hockey player and will be a great addition to our team on the ice. Brandon is also a committed student and will be a great addition to our athletics department.”

Wallis, 21, has spent his entire three-year career in the AJHL with the Crusaders. In 168 games with the organization, the 5’11 forward scored 23 goals and 41 assists for 64 points. In each of his three seasons, Wallis was honoured as the team’s Most Sportsmanlike Player, accumulating only 12 minutes in penalties through his time in Sherwood Park.

Wallis is the ninth Crusader to earn a post-secondary scholarship this season, joining Carter Gylander (Colgate University), Will Zapernick (University of Alabama-Huntsville), Garrett Clegg (Robert Morris University), Zach Kaiser (University of Massachusetts Lowell) Brett Wieschorster (University of Vermont), Reid Irwin, Carter Savoie, and Michael Benning (University of Denver).

The Crusaders organization wish to congratulate both Brandon and his family on his commitment.
