Plevy led the league in scoring last week with 5 assists and 6 points in 3 games played. Plevy was named the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game in two of the three games, which were both against South Division rivals.
Austin Plevy (Langley, BC) is tied for first overall in the AJHL Scoring Race with 5 goals, 10 assists and 15 points. The 19 year-old is averaging a league best of 1.5 points per game in his first 10 games of the season. Plevy is in his second season with the Brooks Bandits after joining the team for 28 games last year (19 regular season, 9 playoff).
The Brooks Bandits are 5-5-0 in the first 10 games of the 2014-2-15 season, and are in a three-way tie for 5th spot in the Viterra AJHL South Division with the Calgary Canucks and Canmore Eagles. The next game for the Bandits is against the Eagles on Friday, October 10th in Canmore.
