The Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week is Jarid Hauptman of the Spruce Grove Saints. Jarid scored 6 points (2G, 4A) in 3 games over the week and was named the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game in all three contests.
Hauptman continues to lead the Saints in scoring with 59 points (18G, 41A) in 47 games, and is averaging 1.3 points per game. The Saints forward is tied for 2nd in the AJHL Scoring Race.
Jarid Hauptman (Morinville, AB) is a 20 year-old centre, currently in his third AJHL season. He has committed to attend Mount Royal University for the 2015-2016 season.
The Spruce Grove Saints hold a 21 point lead in the Viterra AJHL North Division Standings and have put together a 12 game winning streak dating back to December 13th, 2014. The Saints are currently ranked #2 in the CJHL Top 20 Weekly Rankings.
