The Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week is Ryan Chynoweth of the Drumheller Dragons. Ryan scored 5 goals and 8 points in 3 games played from September 28th – October 4th, 2015. The impressive week included a game winning goal on September 28th versus the Calgary Mustangs, and a hat trick on October 1st during the Annual AJHL Showcase. Chynoweth was selected as the Viterra AJHL Player of the Game in two of the three games last week.

Spruce Grove Saints goaltender Brett Zarowny is the Alberta Ford Dealers Goalie of the Week for the week ending October 4th, 2015. Zarowny was 2-0-0 with a 1.0 GAA and .963 SV% last week. He turned away 52 of 54 shots and was awarded as the Viterra AJHL Player of the Game in both victories for the Saints.
Brett Zarowny leads all AJHL goaltenders with a minimal .60 GAA, .977 SV% and a record of 5-0-0. The 20 year-old has already recorded 2 shutout wins. Zarowny (Elk Point, AB) is in his second and final season with Spruce Grove.
