Congratulations to 2005 Forward and Storm Assistant Captain Chase Christensen on his commitment to the Niagara University ACHA Men’s Hockey team for the 2026/27 season. Christensen is a native of Delburne, Alberta, and has played 161 games in a Storm jersey.
On his commitment, Christensen said, “I’m super excited to have the opportunity to go and play hockey in Niagara. It’s been a dream of mine to play College hockey in the States. I want to thank the City of Grande Prairie, as well as the staff, coaches, family and friends that have helped me on this journey.”
Storm GM Mark Bomersback added,” We’re really happy for Chase and would like to thank him for his time and all he has done for the Storm organization, both on and off the ice. He’s been a huge part of the success and culture we have created here, and we can’t thank him enough for how he represented the Storm jersey and respected the community of Grande Prairie. Thank you, Chase, for a great three years and we wish you all the best in Niagara!”
