CALGARY, Alberta – The excitement is building and the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) is revving up as most leagues started their training camps this past weekend. The exhibition season is already in full swing across the country.
The 2015 – 2016 CJHL regular season kicks off the weekend of September 4th in three CJHL leagues including the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL), Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) and Quebec Junior Hockey League (QJHL).
This year will include a record number of games and events across Canada, including nine Showcase Weekends, three Regional Championships, one Eastern Canadian All-Star event, the CJHL Prospect Game and the RBC Cup National Junior A Championship.
Each event provides CJHL players with excellent development and exposure opportunities in front of the scouting community as well as the media and fans of the Canadian Junior Hockey League throughout Canada.
