In hindsight, the best thing that could have happened to the Brooks Bandits was losing a couple of games and falling behind in their Alberta Junior Hockey League championship series.
“It’s great,” concurred Bandits’ head coach Ryan Papaioannou. “It just shows that you can lose games in a series and win; that you can get down in a series and win. It’s just about the process. It can take four games, it can take seven games, but I’m happy we learned through this and hopefully we can take these lessons on to the next series.”
