Elliot Dutil Commits to Lindenwood University

The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are thrilled to announce forward Elliot Dutil has committed to Lindenwood University (NCAA Division 1).

Dutil, 19, was traded to Brooks during the 2022 off-season, and so far has tallied 5 points (2G, 3A) in 5 exhibition games. During the 2021-22 campaign with the Notre Dame Hounds (SJHL), the Montreal, QC product was 4th in league scoring with 67 points (37G, 30A) in 58 games, and 2nd in goal scoring.

“Elliot has done a nice job fitting into our team since arriving a few weeks ago,” said Bandits General Manager and Head Coach, Ryan Papaioannou.

“He has an ability to score which was evident in exhibition along with his production in the SJHL last season. He has shown a willingness to learn and well-liked by his teammates. Our staff is excited to work with him on rounding out his game and continuing his development prior to departing for Lindenwood.”

Located in St Charles, MO, the Lindenwood Lions are the newest NCAA Division 1 program, which begin competing this coming 2022-23 season.

The Bandits 2022-23 Regular Season Home Opener is Friday, September 16 vs the Calgary Canucks. Game time is 7:00 pm, but prior to the game, there will be a special ceremony commemorating the 2021-22 Championship team as four banners will be raised to the CRA rafters for Regular Season Champions, South Division Champions, AJHL Champions, and Centennial Cup Champions.
