Drayton Valley Thunder A. Coach Bill Rotheisler was diagnosed at the beginning of December with Lymphatic Cancer in his esophagus, right above the stomach. This type of Lymphatic cancer is very aggressive. Bill was admitted to Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton last week for an array of testing. He has started a steroid regimen to shrink the tumor and will start chemo as soon as possible. Even though testing has shown that the cancer has spread slightly, it is more important to attack the tumor with high doses of chemo. Signs point towards positive results from the chemo treatments that Bill will undergo.
