The south division rivalry between the Camrose Kodiaks and the Brooks Bandits has given fans an exciting south division final series, already slated to head to five games.
The Kodiaks were in control the moment the puck dropped March 27 in the first game of what promised to be an enthralling competition.
Fans were still standing in line buying tickets downstairs when the siren went off less than three minutes in to signal the first goal of the game, scored by regular season top point earner Ryker Leer.
A second goal came only minutes later from Nelson Gadoury, while a third from Cam Gotaas would give the Kodiaks a 3-0 lead less than 10 minutes into the first period.
