Luka Sukovic of the Bonnyville Pontiacs is the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for January 2024. The Clarkson University (NCAA) commit recorded 15 points (7G, 8A) in ten games, including four multi-point games and his third game winning goal of the season.
Sukovic (2003) recorded a season high four-point game on both January 20th vs Camrose and January 30th versus Fort McMurray. The second year Pontiac also scored his first AJHL hat trick on January 20th.
With 61 points in 51 regular season games, Luka Sukovic leads the AJHL in points and goals (32). He was also selected as the Pizza 73 AJHL Player of the Week for January 29th-February 4th, 2024.
