After 328 long days since Hunt’s hiring, Tuesday April 7, the MOB resumed practice at the Casman Centre with plenty of fresh faces and fresh questions still to be answered as they close in on the final two weeks before the week-long tournament begins.
The air of defeat that followed them to Sherwood Park for games three and four of their first round series against the Sherwood Park Crusaders, which they lost by a combined score of 14-2, has been temporarily replaced by the club’s affiliate players, eager to challenge for a spot on the team’s roster that may become a reality for the club after what happened in early March.
