ATTENTION ALL YOUNG HOCKEY PLAYERS!!
NEW PROGRAM BEGINNING THIS FALL!!
The Okotoks Oilers are pleased to announce the launch of a brand new hockey development program designed with the overarching goals of helping young hockey players throughout the Foothills to develop their hockey skills both on and off the ice. The aim of our program is to help these young skaters build skill, confidence and hockey awareness in a safe environment with professional instruction from certified instructors and Oilers players and staff.
Camps will run throughout the year on – but not limited to – school professional development days from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm with two 75 minute ice times as well as many off-ice training sessions during the day. The off-ice portion of this program will cover areas including team building, nutrition and proper training techniques among others.
Camps will include instruction that is age specific with divisions in Novice, Atom, Peewee and Bantam. Our professional staff will tailor each session to suit the needs and skill level of the players enrolled.
We will also be offering:
• Breakfast Club early morning skate sessions
• Winter week-long camps
• Pond Hockey tournaments
• Spring 3-3 Hockey Leagues
• Summer Camps
