Alex Nordstrom (Hancock, MI) has announced his commitment to attend Michigan Tech in Houghton, MI. The 2000-born forward has had a strong rookie campaign in the AJHL with 23 points (10G, 13A) in 25 games. Nordstrom joins fellow Storm alumni Dennis Rix and Mark Malekoff in attending Michigan Tech and playing for the Huskies.
Nordstrom had the following to say about his next step in his hockey career, “I grew up watching the Michigan Tech Huskies since I was five, and it's a dream come true. I'm looking forward to joining them in the future and I'd like to thank all my friends, family, and coaches for the support.”
