PARKER LALONDE COMMITS TO MERRIMACK COLLEGE

The Brooks Bandits are thrilled to announce forward Parker Lalonde has committed to Merrimack College, becoming the 17th player on the current roster committed to an NCAA Division I school.

Lalonde, 19, is currently fifth in AJHL scoring with 45 points (15G, 30A) through 37 games this season. He leads the AJHL in shorthanded goals with five, and his 30 assists is fifth most in the AJHL. The Aberdeen, SK product is currently second in scoring on the Bandits. He’s had two games where he’s tallied four points, November 15th vs Canmore and December 5th in Drumheller.

Lalonde spent the past two seasons with the Powell River Kings (BCHL). During the 2022-23 campaign, Lalonde was nearly a point/game player with 33 points (16G, 17A) in 36 regular season games, helping the Kings qualify for the BCHL Playoffs. Prior to his junior career, Lalonde played his U18 AAA hockey with the Saskatoon Blazers.

Located in North Andover, MA, the Merrimack Warriors play in the Hockey East Conference.

Lalonde joins the following 2023-24 Bandits to be committed to an NCAA Division I School.

The Bandits return to action on Saturday, December 30th when they host the Okotoks Oilers at the Centennial Regional Arena. Game time is 7:00 pm.
