The Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for September 2024 is Drumheller Dragons forward Ellis Mieyette. The 2006-born rookie led the league in scoring after collecting 12 points (4G, 8A) in six games played through the opening month of the season.
Mieyette (Lumsden, SK) was awarded as the Inter Pipeline AJHL Rookie of the Week with five points (1G, 4A) in his first two games as a Drumheller Dragon. Ellis recorded four assists on September 13th and his first AJHL goal the following night to lead all rookies through opening weekend.
The Drumheller Dragons won both games at the Annual AJHL Showcase on September 26th & 27th with Mieyette picking up four points (2G, 2A), including his first powerplay goal, and extending his point streak to six games in September.
Ellis Mieyette currently leads the AJHL in scoring with 13 points (4G, 9A) in seven games played.
