Source for Sports AJHL Player of the Week: Dec 13th – 19th

Fort McMurray Oil Barons goaltender Jesse Kallechy is the Source for Sports AJHL Player of the Week for December 13th – 19th. Kallechy recorded three wins in three consecutive games for the Oil Barons last week. Kallechy won his 4th shutout of the season on Friday night versus the Lloydminster Bobcats, a career high, and received the Player of the Game honour for his play. Kallechy is 7th overall amongst AJHL goaltenders with a 2.50 GAA.

The 20 year-old goaltender from Sherwood Park, Alberta is in his second full season with the Oil Barons. Kallechy has played in 31 of 40 games for the Oil Barons this season.

The Alberta Junior Hockey League is proud to partner with Source for Sports to recognize the AJHL Player of the Week for the 2010-2011 AJHL Season. The recipients of the award will also receive a Source for Sports Gift Certificate.
