The Drayton Valley Thunder is now accepting applications for the position of Marketing Manager for the 2010/11 season commencing March 1, 2011 or earlier.
The position involves overseeing all marketing operations including, but not limited to, advertising, corporate sponsorship, volunteer recruitment, game day operations, and community exposure. The Marketing Manager reports to the Marketing Committee and President of the Thunder organization.
Applicants should possess a marketing degree/diploma or minimum 5 years of marketing experience. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are fundamental. Each application should contain a complete resume and a list of at least two references.
