It's been a long road for Whitecourt Wolverines head coach Gord Thibodeau.
The longest serving coach in the Alberta Junior Hockey League is on the verge of achieving something truly special.
Thibodeau, who started his career in the late 1990s in Lloydminster, is now into his 23rd year behind the bench.

He's currently sitting at 832, having already tied the record set by legendary coach Don Phelps
