Dylan Holloway was selected as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game three times on the road and on four occasions at home, including three games in November. Holloway (Bragg Creek, AB) leads the AJHL in scoring with 46 points (20G, 26A). The 17 year-old is currently attending Team Canada West Selection Camp in advance of the 2018 World Junior A Challenge. Joseph Karpyshyn was recently named the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week after accumulating 8 points, a game winning goal, and two Star of the Game awards in three games played from November 26th – December 2nd. He has earned the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game award in four road games and three at home with five of those selections coming in November. Karpyshyn (Calgary, AB) has an active 7-game point streak and leads the Mustangs with 32 points (16G, 16A), 10th overall is the AJHL scoring race.
Each of the 480 AJHL regular season games conclude with the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game Award, which recognizes a player from each team deemed to be the game’s top player. Every time a player is recognized as a Viterra AJHL Star of the Game throughout the regular season, they will receive 5 points in the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game Standings.
