The 2017 AJHL Exhibition Season will open on Tuesday night with two notable games on the league schedule. The two-time defending champion Brooks Bandits will host the Okotoks Oilers in a rematch of the 2017 South Division Final. In the North, the Grande Prairie Storm will host Prince George (BCHL) in one of six interleague games being played in the 2017 Pre-Season.
Included in the 47-game Exhibition Schedule is a six-team tournament hosted by the Camrose Kodiaks from August 30th – September 1st.

Opening Weekend for the 2017-2018 AJHL Regular Season will highlight all 16 teams in 15 games from Friday, September 15th – Sunday, September 17th. The regular season will consist of 16 teams, playing 60 games apiece, from September 15th, 2017 to March 4th, 2018. The AJHL will move to a full interlock schedule for the 2018-2019 Season, in which all 16 teams will play each opponent four times.
