The Alberta Junior Hockey League will begin the 2019 Pre-Season on Friday night when the Grande Prairie Storm travel to play the Vernon Vipers (BCHL), followed by games versus the Trail Smoke Eaters (BCHL) on Saturday and Sunday.
The first all AJHL match-ups will be held Monday when the reigning National Jr A Champion Brooks Bandits host the Okotoks Oilers in the South, and the Drayton Valley Thunder host the Whitecourt Wolverines in the North Division.
The 2019 AJHL Exhibition Season will include ten interleague games against CJHL opponents, as well as ten games played outside of AJHL communities. The excitement of AJHL pre-season action will be extended to DeWinton, Stettler, Airdrie, Westlock and Cochrane in 2019.
Team AJHL will also kick off the 2019 Junior Club World Cup in Sochi, Russia on Friday against the 2018 JCWC Champion Loko Yaroslavl. Watch the opening ceremony and game live on YouTube at 7:00pm MCK (10:00am MDT).

The 2019-20 regular season, which will include 15 teams, runs from September 13th, 2019 to February 27th, 2020. The 2020 Inter Pipeline AJHL Playoffs begin on Sunday, March 1st
