The Surge Energy AJHL Showcase will return to the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre in Spruce Grove from Thursday, September 25th to Saturday, September 27th.
The AJHL is proud to display the talent of its 350 athletes as each team will participate in two regular season games apiece over the three-day event. AJHL athletes will receive exclusive exposure to the scouting community and an opportunity to further their academic and athletic careers with over 125 scouts from the NHL, NCAA, CHL, and Canadian University/Colleges expected to be in attendance again this year.
Since the inaugural AJHL Showcase in 2007, 16 players have been drafted directly from the AJHL and over 450 players have committed to a post-secondary College or University.
The AJHL Showcase is a unique opportunity for fans, media and scouts to watch all 16 AJHL teams compete in one location. Tickets are available at the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre on game day and are offered in a variety of packages:
