AJHL Welcomes New League Partners for 2014-2015 Season

The Alberta Junior Hockey League will embark on the 2014-2015 season with the ongoing support of several key sponsors and the addition of three exciting new partnerships.  The League is extremely grateful for the continued loyalty of its corporate partners who have contributed to the success of the AJHL through financial investment, scholarships, community donations and promotion of league events.

The AJHL is proud to welcome Viterra, Inter Pipeline and InVigor as the League’s newest partners for the 2014-2015 season and beyond.  The partnerships include the creation of the Viterra AJHL Division Championships, Viterra AJHL Volunteer Profile, as well as the Inter Pipeline Scholarship Program, InVigor in-arena branding, and several other promotions.

“Corporate Partnership is integral to the Alberta Junior Hockey League and we could not be more proud of the prominent and diverse line-up we have secured,” said AJHL Commissioner Ryan Bartoshyk.  “The commitment of these partners allows us to maximize our ability to promote our game and contribute to the development of our athletes. The association of the AJHL with these distinguished and influential partners elevates our position and creates equity in our brand not only within the Province, but throughout Canada. It is our objective to create partnerships that go beyond the expectations of our sponsors and provide them with the opportunity to become engrained in our League and communities.”

Corporate partners continue to allow the AJHL to provide new opportunities for our athletes and new experiences for our communities, such as the Surge Energy AJHL Showcase, the Gas Drive Coaches Day Initiative, RBC Community Game Nights, and the Crescent Point Energy Western Canada Cup.

League partners of the AJHL also challenge our teams to perform on the ice for rewards that their communities get to enjoy- for every power play and short-handed goal scored during the regular season, the AJHL will donate $5 to the AMA Foundation; a 7-3 home win also means local AJHL fans get Free pizza compliments of Pizza 73.

On ice success is also recognized by the League and its partners regularly through the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week, Viterra AJHL Stars of the Game, Alberta Dodge Dealers AJHL Player of the Month, and the Annual RBC AJHL Award Presentations.

The Alberta Junior Hockey League is proud to partner with the following sponsors for the 2014-2015 AJHL Season: Gas Drive, Royal Bank of Canada, Surge Energy Inc., Crescent Point Energy, AMA, Pizza 73, Canalta Hotels, Reebok / CCM, Alberta Dodge Dealers, Viterra, InVigor, and Inter Pipeline.
