Allin Commits to University of Alaska Fairbanks

Drumheller, AB: The Drumheller Dragons are pleased to announce that goaltender Daniel Allin has committed to the University of Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks of the WCHA for the 2020-21 season.

Allin is a 6?2 goaltender from Edmonton, Alberta. During the 2017-18 season, Allin dressed for the SSAC Midget AAA team in the North Division of the Alberta Midget Hockey League. In 23 games played, Allin earned 3.52 goals against average and a .908 save percentage. During the 2018-19 season, with the 100 Mile House Wranglers, Allin started in 10 games and earned 2.23 goals against average with a .929 save percentage. Of those 10 starts, Allin earned 3 shutout victories in his short time in the KIJHL. Since joining the Dragons, Allin started in 20 games posting impressive numbers which included a 2.62 goals against average and a .915 save percentage with 2 shutouts. In his lone start of the playoffs, Daniel was spectacular making 41 saves earning a 1.90 goals against average and a .953 save percentage.

Daniel becomes the second player from the 2018-19 season to commit to the Nanooks, joining Brady Risk. On behalf of the Drumheller Dragons, we would like to congratulate Daniel and the Allin family on this accomplishment.
