Bandit defenceman Corson Ceulemans to attend World U-17 Camp

BROOKS, AB ? Brooks Bandits defenceman Corson Ceulemans (Beaumont, AB) has been invited to Hockey Canada?s development camp for the upcoming World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, it was announced today.

Ceulemans, 16, will be one of 112 players competing for 66 spots on the three Canadian teams that will compete in the annual event, which this year will be in Medicine Hat, Alberta and Swift Current, Saskatchewan from November 2nd to the 9th.

The University of Wisconsin commit played the maximum five regular season games allowed for a fifteen-year old player with the Bandits in 2018-19 while completing his minor hockey with OHA Edmonton, before joining the team for its national championship run, scoring his first two Junior A goals in the AJHL Final against Spruce Grove.

He then scored one assist in five games in the Doyle Cup against Prince George, before adding three assists in five games at the National Junior A Championship.

Hockey Canada?s camp will run from July 19th to the 26th in Calgary.
