Lloydminster Meridian Booster
The Lloydminster Bobcats extended it’s current winning streak to eight games with a pair of road wins this past weekend.
The ‘Cats took a pair of 5-2 wins over the Drayton Valley Thunder on Friday and Saturday – claiming third place in the AJHL North Division in the process.
Forwards Kyle Harris and Topher Flanagan lead the attack over the weekend as Harris finished with four goals and one assists, and Flanagan had one goal and four assists. Forward Travis Wellman also chipped in with four assists and defenceman Mike Zgraggen had three assists.
The ‘Cats now head to Bonnyville to play the Pontiacs on Tuesday. It is a pivotal match-up as the ‘Cats trail the Pontiacs by one point for second in the North.
