Even on a night specifically devoted to celebrating his contributions to Calgary sport, Ken Bracko doesn't like to hog the spotlight.
Honoured at the Calgary Booster Club's annual Sportsman of the Year dinner, Bracko displayed his familiar modesty and sought to highlight the work of others.
“What this means to me is that it will put in the spotlight a lot of other people who helped me get to where I am,” said Bracko, who helped found the Mac's Tournament and has worked tirelessly as president of the AJHL's Calgary Canucks.
