Goaltender Tanner Jaillet of the Fort McMurray Oil Barons is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the opening week of the 2013-2014 AJHL Regular Season. The Oil Barons have opened the new season at 5-0, with Jaillet posting an impressive 4-0 start.
The 20 year old veteran turned away 96 of 102 shots and recorded his first shutout of the season in the opening four games between September 6th – 15th. Jaillet (Red Deer, AB) was awarded as the Pro Hockey Life Star of the Game on September 13th vs. the Camrose Kodiaks after allowing only 1 goal on 27 shots. Jaillet currently holds a 1.50 GAA and .941 Save Percentage.
