CJHL alumni make-up large portion of men’s Olympic roster

CALGARY, Alta. – As Hockey Canada officially announced the men’s roster for the upcoming Winter Olympic Games, you’ll find a solid contingent Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) alumni that are on the squad.

The line-up sees 13 former CJHL players named to the team, including all three goaltenders, and five AJHL alumni.

This includes 2019-20 CJHL Most Valuable Player, top rookie and best goaltender award winner Devon Levi, who starred that season with the Carleton Place Canadians (CCHL) and is currently in his sophomore season at Northeastern University (Hockey East).

Fellow netminders, Eddie Paquale (Wellington Dukes/OJHL) and Matt Tomkins (Sherwood Park Crusaders/AJHL), were also named to the Team Canada side.
