Clayton Petrie Commits to Red Deer College

The Calgary Canucks are proud to announce that Clayton Petrie has committed to attend Red Deer College of the ACAC for the 2013-2014 season.

Petrie, a 20 year old Red Deer native, played the in the AJHL for 2+ years after being acquired by the Canucks in a trade during the 2010-2011 season. Petrie led all Canucks in scoring this year with 48 points in 46 games; 21 goals and 27 assists averaging just over a point per game. Clayton will be a valuable asset for the Red Deer hockey program, and the Canucks are very proud of Clayton’s decision to attend Red Deer College.

The Calgary Canucks would like to wish Clayton all the best in his academic and hockey endeavors.
