The Calgary Flames have signed Calgary native Brady Lamb, who just finished his senior year at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
The deal is a one-year (two-way) deal at the NHL level. Lamb, 23, is a product of the AJHL Calgary Royals.
“Brady is a physical defenceman who eliminates time and space down low in the defensive zone and finishes his checks,” GM Jay Feaster said. “He has consistently demonstrated strong leadership abilities, and he is a hard-nosed competitor. His work ethic and the way in which he competes have been his calling card throughout his career.”
